Oldbury Wells School
A Specialist Science College
Visit from Castlefields
Thirty four children from Y5/6 at Castlefields County Primary School came to Oldbury Wells Science Department on the last morning of half term to get involved in some exciting activities about environmental sustainability. They learned how to encourage beneficial insects into their gardens and made a bee house each, which they took away with them.

They also made their own recycled paper from old newspapers. The children thoroughly enjoyed the morning and went back to school enthused about what little bit they could do for a sustainable future.
